Week 2
We're walking through the woods…

Who lives in the woods? Perhaps it's a squirrel, a deer, a rabbit, or maybe even a fairy. Embark on exciting expeditions through the forest as we search for signs of woodland creatures. From tracks to nests, and even the bustling homes of buzzing insects, children will learn to identify the secret hideaways and habitats of the forest's furry, feathered, and multi legged inhabitants. Let imaginations run wild amidst the towering trees and dappled sunlight of the forest playground! Children will engage in unstructured play, building forts, and connecting with nature in its purest form.

We Will:

  • Hike in the woods

  • Use trail cameras

  • Identify trees and plants

  • Build fairy houses and bug hotels
