Barn Dance! Once again, Fri., May 4, 2012, the Barn at Castle Hill is the spectacular venue for Cuvilly's annual fundraiser. Food, fun, dancing, music and a live art auction. Tickets are $30 each, or $50 for two. Please mark your calendars! Save the Date!

Adopt a Cuvilly Animal Today!

Supporting the Cuvilly animals -- two pigs, four sheep, one llama/alpaca mix, one horse, two donkeys, a herd of Nubian goats and a bevy of geese, ducks and chickens -- is becoming increasingly expensive. In recent years, providing food, veterinary services, grooming and medications for the animals exceeded $22,000. By "adopting" a Cuvilly animal, herd or flock, you'll be helping to maintain the animals' health and contributing to their general welfare as valued members of the Cuvilly community.

For more than 25 years, our renowned pre-school and kindergarten has been the anchor of our mission and message. For ecological sustainability to become a reality, we must increase our efforts to engage with children of all ages and expand our outreach to the community-at-large. We are currently making plans to enhance and expand our Simply Keep it Local (SKIL) summer program for older children, including adding a brand new winter February vacation week of nature-based activities and outdoor fun.

There are many ways you may help:

• Contribute funds for the maintenance of our farm and school facilities
• Donate funds for the care and feeding of our farm animals.
• Designate your donation for the development and maintenance of a nature trail
• Support the final construction of our 17th-century timber frame home and energy efficient "House of the Future"
• Volunteer your time and talents in Cuvilly's classrooms, gardens or barns

The main sources of income for Cuvilly Arts & Earth Center are school tuition, the annual fund solicitations and fundraising activities such as the Barn Dance and Art Auction.
