Gardening at Cuvilly Arts & Earth Center
One of the most important resources that a garden makes available for use is the gardener's own body.
A garden gives the body the dignity of working in its own support. It is a way of rejoining the human race.
- Wendell Berry
Calling all gardeners and horticulturists...
Come join Cuvilly's unique garden community, where a spirit of cooperation reigns. All participants will decide what vegetables and herbs to plant, the schedule for working and watering the beds and when to harvest. There are no individual beds, but all is shared and the produce evenly distributed among participants.
Cost: $100 per season, includes harvested produce.
All those interested in this cooperative gardening venture are asked to attend a planning meeting prior to spring planting. The date of the meeting is still to be determined. For further information, contact Sister Pat Rolinger at sisterpat@cuvilly.org or call 978-356-4288.
