Cuvilly Tours & Field Trips
Why Bring Your Group to Cuvilly Arts & Earth Center?
Because Cuvilly Arts & Earth Center is:
- approximately 15 acres of marsh, wood, pond and pasture
- a barnyard full of pigs, geese, henhouses and chickens
- a 19th-century timber barn home to sheep, goats, donkeys, and an alpaca named Charlie
- an organic garden that is a model of ecological sustainability
- a study in energy efficiency and innovation with its wind turbine and photovoltaic array
- an authentically constructed Nushwetu indigenous lodge and 17th-century timber framed house typical of early Ipswich residents
- a solar-heated "House of the Future" constructed with ecologically friendly materials
Whether you're a teacher whose class is reading the barnyard classic Charlotte's Web, a scout leader in search of a destination worthy of a science badge or an art instructor looking for the perfect plein-air painting location, Cuvilly Arts & Earth Center makes learning come alive.
Important: The maximum number of participants in any one group is limited to 25.
Cost: There is a charge of $5 per tour participant/visitor in addition to a flat group reservation fee of $50. The total is due one week in advance of the scheduled visit.

Please Note: Cuvilly Arts & Earth Center is a private organization. Its grounds and farm area are not open to the general public. Its pre-school and kindergarten playground is off limits to group tours and is not open to the public at any time. Also, please note that we do not allow people to touch or feed the farm animals; Cuvilly is not a petting zoo.
